Albert C. Hopp Jr. passed away peacefully on August 5, 2019. He was 90 years old. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Groman). Devoted father of James (Carol), Mary Burns (Robert), Denise Hudson (Mark),  the late Lorraine and the late Robert (late Regina).  Loving Pop-Pop to his 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. 

Albert was a proud United States Army veteran who served his country in the Korean War and received two bronze stars. After his military service, he worked as Press Operator for Nicholson File Company. In his downtime, he enjoyed spending time down the shore, walking the beach. He was also an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. His greatest times though, were spent with his family. He loved being with his wife and children and later his grandchildren.  They will remember him for his great sense of humor and always joking with them and teasing his grandchildren. They will also miss spending time with him at his home in the Villas and him light heartedly singing "I hate to see you go!" as they left.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Friday August 9, 2019 beginning at 9am in St. Anne Church (lower) 2328 E. Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral Mass 10:30am. Interment with Military Honors Oakland Cemetery.
