Alfred Gerald "Jerry" E. Wary

Jerry passed away peacefully on August 4. 2018.  Formerly of Malvern, PA. He was born on March 18, 1937 In Girardville, PA to the late Alfred and Margaret Horey Wary.  Jerry attended St. Vincent's School and St. Joseph's High School in Girardville. He went on the Holy Cross Seminary and College in Dunkirk, NY.  He had been manager, auditor and controller for the  Shawnee Inn, The Bellevue Stratford Hotel, the Sheraton Valley Forge, Hilton Hotel Wilmington and the Holiday Inns.  Jerry worked for Jack Kelly at the Philadelphia Hotel. He retired in 1990. Jerry was a long time parishoner of St. Patrick's Church, Malvern, PA. 

He is survived by his sister, Evelyn A. Walsh ( Ronald ). Uncle of Kathy Tomezuk ( Carl ). Sadly missed by Jack, Luke, Liza, Shawn and Erin and his long time friend John H. Mullikin.  His partner of 49 years, Kenneth M. Peitzman,  predeceased him in 2013.  Jerry is also survived by his two cousins, Sr. Martina, IHM and St. John Joseph, IHM.  Graveside services were held at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fountain Springs, Pa., where he joins his beloved mother and Kenneth.  For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Sisters-IHM, Camilla Hall, Immaculata PA.  19345.
