Anthony H. Gruber, Jr.

Anthony was born in Philadelphia, to Anthony H. Gruber Sr. and the late Caroline Davis Gruber. He graduated from St. Anne School and went on the North Catholic, graduating in 1995.  He began at Temple University, working for his degree in Sociology, but, joined the Coast Guard before finishing.  After 3 years in the service , he went back to Temple and received his BA in Sociology.  For a time he worked for the State of Pennsylvania as a Statistical  Analyst and then onto work for SEPTA as a mechanic. 

He is survived by his father Anthony H. Gruber,Sr. ( Karen ) and a sister, Lauren Gruber.  Sadly missed by his life partner Erin Norton and his aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Service of Christian Burial, on Wednesday March 27, 2019, in 11 AM, in the HUBERT M. McBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 2357 EAST CUMBERLAND STREET,  PHILA, PA  19125   where his viewing will begin at 9:30 AM.  Further arrangements will be private.
