Carol A. (Irving) Callen

Carol A. Callen  ( nee Irving ), passed away on June 20, 2018, after a courageous battle with lung disease.  Beloved wife of Thomas S. Callen. Devoted mother of Teresa  A. Newton. Loving Grandmom of Holly Imes, John Newton and Erica Newton. Sadly missed by her 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dear sister of William Irving and the late Mary Achuff, Aileen Preston and Lawrence Irving.  Carol had been a member of the  Rosary Altar Society at Holy Name Church and Past President of Elm Tree Post # 88 American Legion Auxiliary.  Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday June 26, 2018,  at 9 AM ,followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 AM, in HOLY NAME OF JESUS CHURCH, 701 East Gaul Street, Phila., PA  19125.  Interment New Cathedral Cemetery.  As Carol requested,  please make memorial contributions to Holy Name Church, in lieu of flowers .
