Catherine R. Neisser "Cassie" passed away on August 12, 2019 just two days after her 69th birthday.  She is the devoted mother of Margaret Smith and the late Walter Smith. Loving Mom-Mom of Felicia Canady, Michael Canady, Jason Clark, and Sebastian Smith. Dear sister of John "Jackie" Neisser, Patricia Barnhardt, Joseph Neisser, Rose Marchand, Donna Kerwick, Raymond "Butch" Neisser, Christopher Neisser, Michael Neisser, David Neisser, Carol Ann Neisser and the late Edward Neisser. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. 

Cassie was born in Philadelphia to the late Augustin and Catherine (nee Reichardt).  She worked for some years as a baker and pretzel twister at a pretzel factory while raising her children. She was a simple woman who spent her time in her home and taking care of her brother David. She enjoyed watching television, especially game shows and General Hospital. She also liked playing the lottery and faithfully watched the Daily Number each night. She was devoted to her family and they will miss her immensely. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Monday August 19, 2019 beginning at 9am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 E. Cumberland St. Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral service 11am. Interment private as Cassie's wishes were to be cremated.
