On September 19, 2019 A beloved father, husband, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away at the age of 84, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on May 5, 1935 in Takeo, Cambodia. He got married at the age of 20 to Phal Nin and had 6 children. He played a major role as a military soldier in the civil war and helped protect the country of Cambodia. He arrived in the US in 1984, there he met with his children, and they soon settled in Philadelphia. Throughout his years he was able to be surrounded by his grandkids, and great grandkids. He was highly loved by others and made a lasting impact on the community.
Family and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday October 4th, beginning at 5PM at Wat Khmer Palelai Buddhist Monastery 2701 S. 58th Street Philadelphia, PA 19143. Funeral services will begin Saturday October 5th, beginning at 8:30AM at Wat Khmer Palelai. Following the services, cremation will be held at West Laurel Hill Crematory 215 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd PA 19004.
