Edward Sampson Sr. passed away on October 12, 2018, in Aria Frankford Hospital. He was 53 years old.  Beloved husband of the late Maryann. Devoted father of Melissa, Amanda (Lou), Edward Jr. (Carol), Matthew, Andrew, Thomas, Heather, Anthony and Pop-Pop to his 20 grandchildren. Loving son of Claire (nee Donnelly) and the late Tony Kirchner. Dear brother of Jane Sparks, Jim (late Patricia), and the late Thomas "Tucker" and Billy.  Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life Thursday October 18, 2018 beginning at 7pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 E. Cumberland St. Philadelphia PA 19125. Words of Remembrance 8:30pm.
