James "Jamie" Pote

Jamie passed away on September 4, 2018.  He was the beloved son of the late James T. and Eleanor Schneider Pote.  Dearest brother of Eleanor Hayes ( Jeff ), Thomas Pote, Nanette Pote, John Pote ( Anne ), Michael Pote ( Kim ) and the late James T. Pote, Thomas McCarthy and Robert Pote.  He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.  He was the companion of Amber Schweitzer.  

Jamie graduated  Roman Catholic High School and from Temple University with a BA in Education.  Most of his teaching career was in the Folsom (NJ) Schools. A member and 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Collings Lake Council 8718, he was very active in the council activities.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 beginning at 7 PM in the HUBERT M. McBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 2357 East Cumberland Street, Phila., PA  19125.  Prayers and Words of Remembrance will begin at 8 PM.  The family is respectfully requesting memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers,  to Knights of Columbus 8718,  c/o James Coghill, 213 Braddock Avenue, Williamstown, NJ  08094
