John W. Passed away in Temple hospital on February 20, 2019 after a brief illness. He was 67 years old. He is the beloved son of the late Earl (late Anna) and the late Ruth (nee Frantz). Loving brother of Bruce Rogers, Linda Bauder (late Phil), and the late Raymond Hall. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and his furbabies Candy and Max. 

John was a lifelong resident of the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, aside from his time as a resident and student at the Milton Hershey School, which he attended with his best friend and brother, Bruce. He enjoyed playing darts and belonged to the area English Dart League. He also loved cooking for family and friends, decorating for his favorite holiday...Christmas, oldies and Motown era music, and his beloved Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles. He loved to interact with his neighbors and enjoyed seeing them on his walks with Candy and Max.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life Wednesday, February 27, 2019 beginning at 10am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 E. Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. His funeral service will begin at 11am.
