Joseph W. Harris III died suddenly on July 2, 2019. He was 29 years old. Beloved son of Joseph W. Jr. and Margaret (née Sosnowski). Dear brother of Alicia (Matthew D’Imperio) and Michael. Sadly missed by his Gram “Gertie” Marie Harris and his aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Joey worked on the docks after high school with his dad and enjoyed anytime spent with his family. He was an old soul who loved music, especially Queen. He loved to laugh and joke around with his family. He loved the Philadelphia Flyers and the Detroit Lions. He was passionate about fishing along the Delaware River and even after working overnights would spend his days there. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Wednesday July 10, 2019 beginning at 9am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 E. Cumberland St. Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral service 11am. In lieu of flowers, and to honor Joey’s desire to help anyone in need, the family is requesting memorial contributions to the Pink Elephant Movement
