Joseph McCook , Sr.
age 79, passed away suddenly, on May 8, 2018.
Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Margaret “Peg” (nee Later) McCook, loving father of John LaVelle, Denise Kane decd (Charles), Thomas LaVelle decd (Sharon), Robert LaVelle (Maureen), Linda LaVelle, Colleen McGrath (Stephen), Joseph McCook (Jennifer) Harry McCook (Jill). He was the loving brother of Edward Ziegenfuss decd., Janet Lowry decd, Lorraine Bogachuk, Sharon Stabler and Doris Fisher. Joseph was affectionately known as Pop Pop by all who knew him, but most of all to his 23 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He will be truly missed!
Relatives and friends are invited to Joseph’s Life Celebration on Monday May 14, 2018 beginning at 7PM, at Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 E Cumberland St Philadelphia, PA 19125. As well as a Viewing beginning at 9:00 AM at Visitation BVM, “B” & Lehigh Streets Philadelphia, PA 19125 followed by a Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment Magnolia Cemetery
