Katherine L. "Kay" Lesher (nee Mintzer) passed away peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Sr. Devoted mother of Joseph M. Jr. (Veronica), Robert J. (Patti), and Jeffrey T. (Shannon). Loving grandmother of John, Joey, Danielle, Ryan, Brandon, Tyler, Miranda and great grandmother of Layla. Dear sister of Thomas and the late Dorothy and Margaret. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Kay's life Wednesday September 5, 2018 beginning at 6:30pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 E. Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral service and words of remembrance will begin at 8:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests and appreciates memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
