Katherine Angela Rash

Kathy was born in Philadelphia to Marie Gutekunst ( nee Gambone ) and the late Thomas Rash.  She passed away suddenly , on January 8, 2020 in Temple University Hospital. 

She attended Visitation  BVM Elementary School in Kensington.  She received her High School Diploma thru the Jobs Corps Program .  Kathy was a certified Medical Assistant,  getting her education from Delaware Valley Academy of Medical and Dental Arts.  She had worked private duty at the Glendale-Uptown Nursing and Rehab. for a number of years.

Her family is keeping her memory alive,  by Organ Donation to the Gift of Life Donor Program.  Because of her generosity, three miracles of life were possible.     A kind and caring person,  she was always available for someone in need and she proved this even in death.   She had a special devotion to St. Padre Pio,  and considered herself under his care.  She was a music lover and adored her fur baby  Honey Bear.    

Surviving her, in addition to her mother, she is the devoted mother of Edward Kulb.  Sister of Vickie Fallone, Marie Rash and the late Matthew Gutekunst, Stephanie Rash and Thomas Rash.  Niece of Patty Castillo and Jim McGowan.  Aunt to James, Victoria, Carrisa, Brandon, Matthew and Theresa.  

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral on Friday, January 17, 2019 ( her Birthday ), from the HUBERT M. McBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 2357 East Cumberland Street, Phila  at 9 AM.  Funeral Mass 10:30 AM,  St. Anne's Church.  Int. Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.  Viewing Thursday eve 7-9 PM at the funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers it is requested that memorial contributions be made to the family, at the address below.
