Kenny was born in Philadelphia to Mary Vallette Russell and the late Emmanuel Russell. He passed away in Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse, after a very brief illness. He was and avid patriot and decorated his home with American Flags. A history buff, he was well read on the lives of the American Presidents. An animal lover, especially his furbabies Tazzi, Tigger and Geico. Kenny was a huge fan of the Star Trek TV series.
Kenny was loved by all who met him. He will be sadly missed at Walmart, where he worked for the last six months, and before that for K-Mart on Aramingo Ave. for 22 years. He could handle any job he was asked to perform. He loved celebrating all of the holidays, birthdays and anniversaries.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Trindle Adcox. Devoted father to Christopher and David (Dawn) Adcox. Dear brother of Linda Delgado (Carlos). Pop Pop to Shayne and Kailey and dear uncle of Carlito and Robert.
Relatives, friends and co-workers from K-Mart and Walmart, are invited to gather at 9:30 AM on Monday August 12, 2019 and to participate in his Funeral Service at 11 AM, in the HUBERT M. McBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 2357 East Cumberland St, Philadelphia 19125. In lieu of flowers the family is respectfully requesting memorial contribution to an orginazation benefiting animal welfare or the the Glioblastomafoundation.org
