Pedro Carrion passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2019 in Philadelphia, PA, at the age of 70. He is the beloved husband of Jennifer R. (nee Fenton). Devoted father of Kristofer, Mathew, and Dominic. Loving son of Faustina and the late Pedro. Dear brother of Jose Carrion, Hector Carrion, and Marilu Fontanez. Cherished son in law of Joseph and Janice Fenton and brother in law of Joseph Fenton Jr. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.
Pedro was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He moved to Wildwood, NJ over thirty years ago and lived there until his passing. He worked for 34 years as an amusement mechanic for Morey's Piers and was fondly known as the mayor of Wildwood. He greeted everyone with a bright smile on his face and was kind to people. He enjoyed playing the lottery and loved to do simple things like mowing his lawn and yard work. His greatest joy was his family. He sacrificed everything for them and made them happy with his goofy personality. He loved to watch his sons play in their basketball games and cook for them. He was an ordinary man who left an extraordinary mark on this world and was, in the words of his sons, an "absolute legend".
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Sunday October 13th from 6-8pm and Monday October 14th from 10-11am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 E. Cumberland St. Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral service 11am in the funeral home. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Cheltenham, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates any donations to help defray unexpected final expenses.
