Robert R. Bond Jr. “Bobby” age 50, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of his one true love Margaret (née Conway). Devoted father of Robert III (Jade), Kiersten, and Kaitlyn. Loving Big Poppa of Nova Lynn. Cherished son of Janet (née Davis) and the late Robert R. Sr. Dear brother of Janet Morell (John) and Karen Stermel (Chris). Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and his in-laws. Bobby was born and raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. He graduated from North Catholic High School class of 1986. He met the love of his life Margie in his teenage years and they began their life together. These two would always be there for each other and were devoted to one another for 34 years. Bobby will always be remembered for his quick wit and great sense of humor, however mostly  for his loyalty to his family and for his beautiful, kind, giving heart. 

“Our dad was by far the most inspiring person we have ever met. When we were kids..  he was our superhero. And he always will be for many reasons. He had a heart of gold. He was the loudest. The wildest. His love was bigger than life. The dedication to his family was limitless. An absolutely incredible human being. "

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life at his memorial gathering Monday October 7, 2019 beginning at 7pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 E. Cumberland Street. Philadelphia PA 19125. Words of remembrance 8:30pm. In lieu of flowers, and to honor Bobby’s giving heart, please take any opportunity to do a random act of kindness and help our less fortunate.
