Ryan G. Kennedy

Ryan was born in Philadelphia to Winnie Glisson Kennedy and the late James J. Kennedy.  He passed away unexpecedly at home.  He was employed by Northeast Building Products,  where be worked as a glass cutter. 

Ryan was a genuine, loving, fun person who lit up any room he stepped into and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him would agree. He was loved by so many people as he knew exactly how to make you laugh. You couldn’t help but smile when he was around. Always rocking his superhero t-shirts with a fresh pair of sneakers, you would never find him not “looking good” as he always made sure he did and made sure you knew it. Ryan will continue to light up the room with his fun-loving spirit as we remember him.

In addition to his mother , he is the brother of Melissa Troxell-Newcomb ( Bob ), Danielle Hrynczyszyn ( Sam ), Noelle Kennedy, Betty Kennedy ( Brett VanVacter ) and the late Damian Kennedy. Uncle of  Caitlin, Michael, Jenna, Sean, Brett, Sage, Nathan and Natalie.  Sadly missed by his extended family and friends. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday November 11th, 2019 between 11 AM and 1 PM in the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-17 East Susquehanna Avenue, Fishtown.  Further arrangements will be private and at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, the family is respectfully requesting contributions to defray final expenses.
