William E. Flail, Jr.

Bill was born in Philadelphia to Judith Wambold Flail and the late William E. Flail, Sr.  He passed away unexpectedly at his home.  Bill attended St. Anne and Hackett Schools.  He entered the US Army at an early age . He attained the rank of SP4.

While on maneuvers, a morter detonated near him and he was permanently injured, thus ending his military career. 

He was an avid sports fan and followed his hometown teams.  An animal lover, he will be missed by his furbabies Minna and Samantha.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by his many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday November 12, 2019 beginning at 10 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 AM, in St. Anne's Church, 2328 East Lehigh Avenue, Philadelphia, PA  19125.  Burial with Military Honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers the family is respectfully requesting memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans.
