After high school, Alfred proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. He later worked as a Philadelphia Firefighter until his retirement and was a proud member of Local 22 Firefighters’ Union.
Alfred was a devoted and active parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus parish. He selflessly gave his time to meet any needs of the church and its members. He served as the sexton, a Eucharistic minister and sang with the guitar group. He was also a Boy Scout Leader for the church chapter of Boy Scouts.
In his free time, Alfred enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping at Hidden Acres Campground. More than anything, Alfred loved his family and time spent with them.
