Alfred "Danny" D. O'Brien

Alfred D. O'Brien "Danny" passed away peacefully at home on February 29, 2020, at the age of 68. He is the beloved husband of the late Diane (nee Anderson). Devoted father of Sissy Norton (Kevin), Jamie, Jake (Amanda), Dorothy "Dot", and the late Daniel "Fuddy". Loving Pop of Danny, Eric, Joslyn, Emma, Ryleigh, Ethan, and Brielle. Sadly missed by his 9 brother and sisters and predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters. Survived by his many nieces and nephews and his furbaby Cat.  Danny was a simple, quiet man who enjoyed the simple things in life like watching his Philadelphia sports teams or wrestling while drinking a beer. His greatest joy came from his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Wednesday March 4, 2020 beginning at 10am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. His funeral service will begin at 11:30am.
