Ameen J. Moses

Ameen "Moe" Moses was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved his country and served in the Marine Corps. He was truly a one-of-a-kind man who enjoyed listening to Classic Rock Music. As an avid coin collector his entire life, he would inspect every coin that came through his hands.  He was a lifelong Philly sports fan, especially the Phillies and the Eagles, but as his grandsons got older you could find him watching the Sixers games with them. In his younger years, he would take his kids fishing and hiking in Wissahickon Valley park. He loved watching any old movies, especially ones that included John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. Nothing made him prouder than being a Poppy to 20 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. 

He was the beloved husband to the late Kathleen ( Sevick ). Devoted father of Ameen Sevick (Judy), James Moses (Hattie), Michael Moses (Stacey), Kathleen Zink (James), Donna Moses (Nick), Barbara Beatty (Chris) and the late John Moses.  Pop Pop of Serrah, James III, Ashley, Yasmeen, Rachel, Tyler, Tiffany, Ryan, James Jr., Greg, Hannah, John, Katie, Cadence, Kymberlee, Layla, Christopher, Peter, Leona and the late Joshua.  Great Grandpop to 6. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Saturday September 14, 2024 at 10 AM, in the Gospel Light Baptist Church, 3531 Avalon Street, Philadelphia, PA  19114
