Andrew "Andy" G. Hughes

Andrew G. Hughes "Andy" passed away tragically on October 9, 2020, at the age of 43. He is the devoted father of Drew and Justin Hughes. Cherished son of Deborah Hughes King. Beloved fiance of Donna Zavitsky. Dear brother of John Hughes (Jeannette), Corine Williams (Lee Sommerfield), Michelle Kleinfelder (Matt), Andrew Valerio Jr., and Jeanette Valerio. Loving grandson of Joan Hughes. Sadly missed by his mother in law Linda Zavitsky and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.  

Andy will always be remembered for his heart of gold and wonderful sense of humor. He was a simple man who loved fishing and spending time with his boys and his family. If he loved you he would do anything for you and would look out for you, if he didn't like you, well...you knew it.  Andy was always one to call things as he would see them and his family would lovingly say that he had no filter.  He was lucky enough to have met his soul mate, Donna, and he loved sharing his life with her. He loved to do nice things for her and her mother and loved that their families easily became one. He will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved him.

A private celebration of his life will be held on October 24, 2020. The family asks that anyone wishing to know the details reach out to them.
