Anna Marie Clare

Anna Marie Clare, age 63, passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2025. She was born in Philadelphia on September 10,1962 and lived for her entire life in the Kensington section of the city. She is the beloved daughter of the late Anna and Charles Kurtz and the late Edward Clare. Dear sister of Michael Clare, and John Clare (Florence). Loving aunt of Regina Beideman, Jason Beideman (Natosha), and great aunt of Madison Beideman. 

A devoted animal lover, Anna Marie cherished every moment with her beloved fur baby, Squeekers. She found joy in watching game shows and playing cards, often creating her own imaginative games—always favoring kings, queens, and aces. Her love for Christmas was unmatched; she eagerly awaited the arrival of “HoHoHo,” as she fondly called Santa. With blue as her favorite color, she brought brightness and warmth to those around her. She will be remembered for her playful spirit and the love she freely gave.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her life Saturday December 13, 2025 beginning at 10am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125 followed by prayers and words of remembrance at 11:30am.
