Annette "Nettie" McCann

November 16, 1938- March 31, 2024

Mom’s pride and joy was her family. She was loving and supportive of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, time spent at the beach in North Wildwood, going out to dinner, reading, going to the casino, floating in the pool (aka Esther Williams) and playing games on her tablet and phone. Her most cherished, treasured and happy times were those spent with her family and friends. As of late, she really enjoyed the sleepover parties; we will hold those memories close to our hearts forever.

She is survived by her loving husband Jack. Devoted mother of Debbie Waser (Mike), Donna Morawski (Rich), Shelly Novak, Tommy Novak (Lisa), Cheryl Paluszek (Michael) and cherished sister Patsy McCaffery (Joe). 

Stepmother to Kathleen Sipio and Colleen McCann. Grandmother "Mom Mom" to Holly Jo Harvey (Joe), Richie Morawski (Nina), Casey Crowley (Billy), Kira, Justin and Erica. Step Grandmother to Jacqueline. Great Grandmother "Mom Mom" to Izzy, Alli and Tripp. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Adella Parrish and the father of her children Thomas Novak.

Family and Friends are welcome to gather and celebrate her life Saturday April 13, 2024 in St. John Cantius Church 4415 Almond Street Philadelphia, PA 19137.  Visitation will begin at 9:30am, followed by her funeral service at 11:30am.
