Anthony "Tony" E. Klancic

Anthony E. Klancic "Tony", age 67, sadly passed away at home on May 13, 2024. He was born in Philadelphia on November 11, 1956 to the late Anthony L. and Frances (nee Kennedy). 

Tony was a lifelong Fishtowner. It was here that he met the love of his life Jean and the two were married for over 47 years. Tony devoted his life to his family. He worked hard to provide for them and supported them in anything they did. In his down time, Tony enjoyed fishing, especially with his kids and grandkids. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Tony is the belove husband of Jean (nee Miller). Devoted father of Anthony J. "AJ", James "Jimmy", and Jean Nicole Rhoades (Kenny). Loving Pop of Ryan (Sabia), Jared (Erin), Shane, Cole, Wyatt, Logan, and the late Chase. Dear brother of Frances Rucki (late Stanley "Murph"). Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and his furbaby Reese.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Tuesday May 21, 2024 beginning at 9am in the McElvarr Funeral Home 1415-17 East Susquehanna Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19125 (Fishtown) followed by his funeral service at 11am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Fox Chase Cancer Center 333 Cottman Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19111 for their loving and compassionate care of Tony and so many others.
