Barbara (Doman) McGovern

On March 31, 2021, Barbara McGovern (nee Doman), passed away after 89 years on this earth.  She was an absolute “force to be reckoned with” even up until the end.  She was a mother and Nanny; friend to most people and respected by all.  She was the true matriarch and patriarch of our clan.  She bestowed many life lessons on us all, but, none greater than “family is family” and the love will always be there. 

She will be greatly missed by her children: Jim (Lori), Terry (Phyllis), Patrick and Donna; her grandchildren: Steven, Terry, Timmy, Lori, Jimmy, Chad, Melissa, Jeffrey, Kevin, Joey, Adam, Chris and Amber;  22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Survived by her sister Kathy (Doman) Craig of Richmond, Virginia. 

She was predeceased by her husband, John (Mack) McGovern and her beloved daughter, Elaine (Ken). We hope Pudding ran over the rainbow bridge to greet you!  See you again, “old lady”. Ceremony private.
