Barry Snodgrass, Sr.

Barry was born in Philadelphia to the late Thomas and Naomi Evans Snodgrass.  He passed away unexpectedly at his home after a valiant battle with heart disease.  He was born in the Kensington area and raised in Frankford.  He graduated from Frankford High School.

Always good with his hands he found himself working in the construction and home repair trade. His specialty was siding and capping.  He worked for a number of companies in the area including Pace Roofing.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and pitching horseshoes. Among his favorites pastimes was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Patricia (Pace), son Barry Snodgrass Jr.  his grandchildren Lorenzo Snodgrass, Michael Sweat and Kevin Flegler, Sisters Kim Swingle and Anne Lewis. Barry was predeceased by his daughter Ginamarie Snodgrass, son  Kevin Flegler and brother Scott Lewis. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and many friends. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral on Monday, December 15,2025 beginning at 9:30 AM and his Service at 11 AM, in the HUBERT M. McBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 2357 E. Cumberland St.
