Beatrice 'Sissy" Jones

Beatrice 'Sissy' Jones passed away peacefully on February 11, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with health issues. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Walter and Beatrice Babaich Malkowski.  She is the widow of Jesse (Bob) Jones who she married on August 27, 1960, until his passing on October 22, 1998. They were married for 38 years.

Prior to moving to West Deptford, Beatrice lived in the Fishtown area of the city. She was retired from the School District of Philadelphia. She loved Judge Judy, Bingo, going to the Casino, and the Shore. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her smile was contagious.  More than anything, Beatrice loved her family and her time spent with them.

Beloved Mother of Kim Dawson (Christopher), Jesse R. Jones III (Cheryl). Grammy to Jessica Spicer (the late Robert), Chelsea Jones and Jesse IV. G-G to Tristan Spicer. Sister of Roseann Malkowski, Linda Pizza (Joseph), Gerard Malkowski (Annemarie), Michael Malkowski (Cynthia), Denise Weicker (Thomas), Bryan Malkowski (Patricia), Theresa Palmer and the late Walter "Sonny" Malkowski, Thomas Malkowski (the late Maryann), Joseph Malkowski (Mary), Robert Malkowski (Donna) and James Malkowski (Rose).Aunt Sissy to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral on Saturday, February 17, 2024, beginning at 9 AM and followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM, in St Bartholomew's Church, Harbison and Cheltenham Ave.  She will be laid to rest with her husband Bob in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
