Brian "BJ" J. Hart

Brian J. Hart "BJ" passed away on January 19, 2024 in Temple University Hospital. He was born on September 13, 1965, the youngest child of the late Michael and Rose (nee Gleckner).

Beloved brother of Timothy, Francis, Patrick, Agnes, Nancy, Catherine, Theresa, Rosemary, and the late Michael, Joseph, and Margaret. He is sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

BJ was raised in the South Kensington section of Philadelphia and spent much of his childhood in Hancock playground, where he made many lifelong friends. He always looked out for people and was known to shovel for his elderly neighbors, never taking a dime for his efforts. He was funny and kind and loved time spent with his family. He will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service Friday February 2, 2024 at 10am in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 3301 W. Cheltenham Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19150. Please arrive a few minutes before the service and meet the procession inside of the Cheltenham Avenue entrance.
