Carol was born in Philadelphia to the late Richard and Helen McCann Peterman. She passed away unexpectedly at her home.
Carol was raised in Kensington/Fishtown and later moved to Port Richmond where she was presently living.
She loved her daughter Kristen and son-in-law Mike and grandchildren Ava and Christopher, with whom she lived and loved them unconditionally. She enjoyed spending time with them playing around the house, dancing to their favorite songs and dress - up and making people laugh. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Very supportive of her family and was there no matter what.
One of her favorite roles was being mother, grandmother sister and friend. She just enjoyed life and spending time with family and friends. Carol was one of a kind and will be missed sadly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren she is the dear sister of Sue Collins ( the late James ), Elizabeth Bologna, Mary Flaton ( John ), Stephen ( Theresa ), Richard ( Diane), Donna Rohrich ( Jurgen ), Craig ( Dawn ), Janet, the late Catherine Arroyo ( Jaime ), James, Sandy, Joseph ( Diane ) and Marie Gavula ( Donald ). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her life on Wednesday October 26, 2022, from 6 to 8 PM, in the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-17 East Susquehanna Avenue, Fishtown.
For those desiring, a memorial contribution to help with expenses would be appreciated.
