Caroline "Carol" J. (Kruzinski) Scheidegg

Caroline J. Scheidegg "Carol" (nee Kruzinski) passed away on June 17, 2023 at the age of 73. She is the devoted mother of Barbara Scheidegg (Greg Kearney), Maryann Grone-Silva (Eberson), Charles Scheidegg (Susan Walsh) and the late Carol Scheidegg. Loving Grandmom to Joe-Joe, Crystal, Alysha, Barbie, Paige, Gregory, John, Theresa, Joseph, Tiffany, Tasha, Erica, Charles, Dylan, Brandon, and Aubrey "Bee". Cherished life partner of Javier Vazquez "Harvey". Dear sister of Maryann Bruce (late George) and the late Leona Wilmot (late Arthur). Sadly missed by her 40 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Carol was born to the late Leon and Stella (nee Honorowski) Kruzinski. She was raised in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia and remained there throughout her life. She was a loving and devoted mother who lived her life for her children. Even as her children grew, her house was always home to them and her door was always open, whether it was for family, friends, or neighbors. She was a second mother to many of her grandchildren and even some of the neighborhood kids. Carol also opened her heart and her home to animals and she loved her cats like they were her children. 

Carol was sweet, funny, young at heart, and a great judge of character. She loved the simple things in life like movies, puzzle books, Scratch offs, board games, her Dunkin Donuts, and a good phone conversation that would last hours. She found so much joy when she met and fell in love with Harvey and she truly cherished the memories she made with him. Carol was simply one of a kind and she will be greatly missed and forever loved by all those who knew and loved her. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Tuesday June 27, 2023 beginning at 11am in the McElvarr Funeral Home 1415-17 East Susquehanna Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19125 (Fishtown) followed by her funeral service at 1pm.
