Catherine E. (Beerhalter) Kelley-Corson

Catherine E. Kelley-Corson (nee Beerhalter) passed away unexpectedly at home on September 16, 2020. She is the cherished daughter of the late Daniel Beerhalter and Helena Mastella Beerhalter. Devoted mother of Roy Kelley III and the late Daniel. Loving Grandmom of Natalie, Dylan, and Landon. Dear sister of Helena Murray (David), Elvira McKenna (late Chuck). Joseph Quinn, Daniel Beerhalter (Margie), Richard Beerhalter (Leah), Christine Beerhalter, and the late Michael Beerhalter and Peter Beerhalter. Sadly missed by her goddaughter Samantha "Sambo" Fahy (Michael) and her many nieces and nephews. 

Cathy worked as an LPN and much of her time working was spent helping those with special needs. She was a loving person who would help anyone in need and loved to talk and socialize, earning her the nickname "Chatty Cathy" by her family. She loved simple things such as old movies, trips to Wildwood, and a good fresh lunchmeat sandwich. She was an avid reader and loved books by Anne Rice and Stephen King. She grew up in the 60s and 70s and her family fondly referred to her as a hippie and "Cathy tiptoeing through the tulips". She will be missed by her family but they take comfort in knowing she will be reunited with loved ones, especially her son. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her life on Friday September 25, 2020 beginning at 12noon in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 E. Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral service 1pm
