Charles B. Seltner “Chalie” went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2022 at the age of 66. He is the beloved husband of 39 years to Mary M. (nee Kane). Devoted father of Maryann (David), Amanda (Greg), and Kimberly (John). Loving Pop to Conor, Jay, Finley, Madi, Brynn, and Gianna. Cherished son of the late Charles and Marie (nee White) Seltner. Dear brother in law of Elizabeth (John), Kay (Jim), Theresa, Joey (Mary Frances), Jimmy (Pat), George, and the late Rose, Marty, and Johnny. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.
Chalie was a devout Catholic who always remained strong in his faith. His greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted husband and father and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Although it breaks their hearts to lose him, his family takes comfort that he was reunited in heaven with those who have gone before him, on his favorite day of the year….Christmas day.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Friday December 30, 2022 from 8:30-10:15am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. Funeral Mass 11am in Nativity BVM Church 2535 E. Allegheny Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19134. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the Sean P. Miller Scholarship Fund
