Charles “Pooper” J. Kirby Jr.

Charles J. Kirby Jr. “Pooper” passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2021. He is the beloved son of Charles J. Sr. And Patricia (née Sinese). Devoted father of Charles III and Nicholas. Stepfather of Ashlie McDermott. Loving Poppy of Maddie, Kaden, and Ryden. Dear brother of Theresa, JoJo, Sam, and Kit. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and his extended family. 

Pooper was born and raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia in a large Irish Catholic family. He was very proud of his heritage and everyone knew it. Being a true Philly guy, he was also a proud fan of all of his Philly sports teams, especially the Phillies and the Eagles. He also loved fishing and martial arts.  His greatest joy came from spending time with family, especially his grandkids. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Saturday July 24, 2021 beginning at 8:30am in St. Anne Church (lower) 2328 East Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral mass 10:30am. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
