Join us in celebrating the life and legacy of Chester Paczewski, better known as Butch. He was a Fishtown native, born and raised by his mother the late Sophie Glinkowski Paczewski at Belgrade and Susquehanna. Butch loved music, cars and his family. He had a kind heart and believed music could heal your soul. He often would sing to you to lift your spirits. Butch was devoted to his family. He often would pop in on family out of the blue just to say hi because he was just in the area. Butch was one of a kind. An original 50's greaser, he loved to play his Doo Wop 45's and work on cars in his garage. He was full of life and his legacy will live on forever after all, he is "Mr.Unforgettable "

He is the beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Carter), devoted father of Ronald Paczewski (Denise), Donald Paczewski (Arline), Brian Paczewski , Kathleen Camac (Michael), Carl Paczewski, and Patricia Reynolds (Sidney). Dear brother of the late Robert Paczewski (Virginia). Sadly missed by his numerous grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Service of Christian Burial on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11 AM, in the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-17 East Susquehanna Avenue, Fishtown. His viewing will begin at 9:30 AM. Butch will be laid to rest with his beloved mother in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
