Christina Marie Gray

Christina Marie Gray “Chrissy” passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 8, 2019 while visiting her “Happy Place” in Arizona. She was 46 years old. Cherished daughter of Gerald Sr. (Jerry) and Margaret (Peggy) Gray of Fishtown, Chrissy is mourned by her sons Frank and Anthony Leo and her brothers Gerald (Jerry) Gray Jr. and John Gray. Chrissy was a loving Aunt to Kristen Gray, Skylar Gray and Jocelyn Gray, and will be sadly missed by her great nephews Brandon Garcia and Bryce Campbell, great niece Makenzie Campbell, and her sister-in-law Beth Gray. Chrissy left her mark of love on countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Chrissy was born in Philadelphia and lived in the Fishtown / Port Richmond area her entire life. She worked for years as a Nurse and especially loved working in senior care centers. Devoted to her family and friends, Chrissy will be remembered as a loving help and caretaker to anyone who needed her. She was happiest when she was busy working or spending time with her friends and family. When visiting her family in Arizona, Chrissy loved to spend her days lounging by the pool, enjoying the tranquility of the outdoors and abundant wildlife. She also loved music, especially 90’s grunge rock, and was always ready to go! It didn’t matter where, she just loved going out and being with her people. Chrissy’s family and friends will miss her immensely, but they take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Chrissy’s life at her Memorial Gathering on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 10 AM, in St. Anne Church 2328 East Lehigh  Avenue, Phila., PA   19125 followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 AM,   A luncheon  will follow  at Casbah Caterers 3461 E. Thompson Street, Philadelphia, PA 19134.
