Christine M. (Hackett) McNally

Christine M. McNally (nee Hackett) passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2026. She was born in Philadelphia on October 16, 1951.

Christine worked for many years as a Cataloguer for the Free Library of Philadelphia, a perfect job for her as she loved books. She enjoyed time spent at home reading and listening to music, especially Rock n' Roll. She will be greatly missed by her family but they take comfort that she is being reunited in heaven with those she loved, especially her husband George, whom she missed dearly. 

Christine is the beloved wife of the late George F. McNally Jr., who she shared her life with for over 58 years. Devoted mother of Stacey Powell (Cary), Heather McNally (Robert), Jennifer McNally, Courtney Branigan (Shane), George F. McNally III (Barbara), and Megan McNally. Cherished daughter of Kathleen Hackett. Dear sister of Russell Hackett (Linda) and the late James Hackett. Sadly missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Wednesday February 18, 2026 beginning at 6pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125, followed by her funeral service at 8pm.
