Christine (Nelson) Murzyn

Christine Murzyn (nee Nelson) passed away on September 28, 2024 at the age of 57. She was born in Philadelphia on September 22, 1967 to Theresa (nee Deeney) and the late Joseph R. Nelson. 

Christine was raised in the Oxford Circle section of Philadelphia and attended St. Martin of Tours grade school. She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, class of 1985. Later, she devoted her life to her family as a homemaker. Christine will always be remembered for bringing joy to others and for always having a smile on her face. She found happiness in the simple things in life, especially spending time with her family. She always looked forward to family parties and being surrounded by those she loved. 

Christine is preceded in death by her father Joseph Nelson and her brother Timothy Nelson (MaryJean). She is survived by her husband Joseph G. Murzyn, her son Joseph P. Murzyn, her grandchildren Joseph P. Jr. and Samantha, her mother Theresa Nelson, her sisters Patricia Nelson and Eileen O'Donnell (Kevin), and her brother Joseph Nelson (Michael King). She is also sadly missed by her nieces and nephews and her extended family. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her life Saturday October 5, 2024 beginning at 9am in St. John Bosco Church 215 E. County Line Rd. Hatboro, PA 19040 followed by her funeral mass at 10:30am.
