Christopher C. Wilson Jr. passed away suddenly on March 10, 2025 at the age of 64. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Christopher C. Sr. and Bernadette H. (nee Craig) Wilson.
Chris was raised in the East Falls section of the city as the only brother to his four sisters. He was a truck driver for the Inquirer and a member of Teamsters. Chris lived a diverse lifestyle, embracing a vast variety of interests. He had a passion for cars, especially muscle cars, and enjoyed everything from restoring and fixing them, to driving them. He was also a music enthusiast who loved listening to rock and roll, almost as much as he loved playing it on his guitar. Chris also spent his free time boating, fishing, and visiting new places, his favorite being the Western US deserts.
Chris will be remembered most for his love of his family and his devotion to them for most of his life. He possessed a great sense of humor and loved playing pranks, especially on the kids in the family. Chris will be greatly missed and his memory will be treasured by all those who knew and loved him.
Chris is the devoted father of Christopher C. III. Cherished brother of Jean Haslett (Glenn) and the late Margaret H. Kauffman, Sandra J. Wilson and Helen M. Wilson. Loving uncle of Nicole M. Graham (Jameson), Glenn Haslett Jr, (Angelina), Lisa Kaczorowski (Joseph), John Kauffman; great uncle of Calvin, Chloe, Alexander, Edward (Brandi), Ciara (Billy), John (Breanne); great great uncle of Peyton, Christian, Jaxson, and Reagan. He will be missed by his cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited together to celebrate his life on Saturday March 22, 2025 beginning at 10am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home: 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. Prayers and words of Remembrance at 11am. Any are welcomed to say a few words.
