Christopher “Pop” W. Prince

Christopher W. Prince “Pop”, age 26, passed away suddenly and tragically on June 26, 2025. Though his time here was far too short, Christopher lived life with energy, style, and an unforgettable spirit.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Christopher had a deep love for sports — especially basketball — and was a loyal fan of both his hometown Eagles and the Green Bay Packers. He worked hard and was proud of his ability to earn and enjoy the fruits of his labor. Whether it was buying the latest sneakers or dressing sharp, he always carried himself with confidence and pride.

Christopher had a big heart, and nothing meant more to him than his family. He shared a close bond with his younger siblings and cherished spending time with them — from taking his baby brother to the park or out for McDonald’s, to simply being the big brother they looked up to. He had a natural way of making those around him laugh and feel loved.

He was also deeply connected to music and video games, finding joy and creativity in both. But above all, the most important relationship in Christopher’s life was the one he shared with his mother. The two were inseparable, and she often said that they “raised each other” — a reflection of their unbreakable bond and mutual love.

Christopher will be remembered for his charm, his loyalty, his big smile, and his even bigger heart. He leaves behind a family who will love him forever and a circle of friends who will never forget his light.

Christopher is the beloved son of Andrea Addio and Henry Middleton. Dear brother of Ajah, Anthony, Amaya, Amir, Shaleah, and Courtney. Cherished grandson of Brenda Middleton and the late Rita Rosano (late Joe Lagana). Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life Monday July 7, 2025 beginning at 10:30am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. Funeral service to follow at 12pm.
