Cornelius "Neil" C. Mallon

Cornelius C. Mallon "Neil" passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 80. He is the beloved husband of Rita T. (nee Keefer). Devoted father of Sally, Patty Hansbury (Paul), Lorraine Nye, Michael, Neil Aaron (Lee Ann), Nancy Ann, and Ernest John and the late Sherrie Lenhardt (late Jack). Dear brother of Philip. Sadly missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his 6 brothers and sisters.

Neil was born to the late Philip and Evelyn (nee Steinmetz). He was raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and remained there throughout his life. Neil was an avid hunter and enjoyed any time he could spend hunting. He also loved spending time with his family (as long as there were snacks). He had a great sense of humor and was always ready with a "dad joke". Neil will be missed by all those who loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Sunday March 5, 2023 beginning at 6pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Words of Remembrance at 8pm.
