Craig Steven Fluehr, beloved son of Kathleen Fluehr and proud father of Ryan Steven Fluehr and Angelina Marie Willlard was called home to Jesus on October 19, 2021, at the age of 48, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Remembered dearly by his aunts and uncles, George Fluehr (Barbara), Joseph Fluehr, Lynn Willard, Barbara Hemphill (Warren), John Fluehr, Cynthia Lennon (Fred), Frank Fluehr, his cousins and their spouses. Also sadly missed by his second family: Colleen O’Connor Skylakon, her children and their spouses and her grandchildren, Susan Wahl and his many treasured friends. He was predeceased by his loving grandparents George and Evelyn Fluehr.
Craig was a printer, an assistant autobody repairman, and for the past four years an AutoZone commercial delivery driver. Despite often saying he was living on “borrowed time” due to his disabling heart condition, Craig truly valued spending his life with his family and friends. He always shared in their joys and felt deep compassion for their sorrows.
He was a music lover (rock, alternative rock, and 90s hip-hop), devoted Eagles fan, great storyteller, jokester and avid gamer. Having a curious nature, Craig enjoyed reading and learning from books, articles and informational television programs on science, history, technology, and the Bible.
Craig was always his mother’s hero and now he is a hero to all of us. He has saved lives through his organ donation to the Gift of Life Donor Program, giving hope to many others. Craig will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.
Goodbye for now, see you again when we all meet in Glory.
