Daniel G. Wazalis, age 65, of Port Richmond, sadly passed away on May 7, 2024. Upon graduation from high school, Danny started his first job as a binding machine operator for a printing company in Philadelphia. Through dedication and hard work, Danny became skilled at his job which provided him with a great sense of pride and accomplishment.
Danny was a history buff, enjoyed listening to music and playing drums, but his true passion was art. He was a talented artist who expressed his thoughts and emotions creatively in drawing and painting using various media including pencil, charcoal, acrylic, and experimental chalk.
Danny is predeceased by his parents, Daniel C. and Sarah D. Wazalis. He is survived by his two daughters: Sara Wazalis and Jaimie Wazalis, four grandchildren, his sisters Debrah Hasisi, Dorothy Berrigan, And Monica Schwartz, as well as his nephews Daniel and David Berrigan, his nieces Claudia Schwartz and Kristen Poliafico, and his uncle James Wazalis.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service beginning at 9:30am on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. Words of Remembrance commence at 11:00am.
