David Dugan Obituary

Dave was born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Margaret O'Neill Dugan.  He passed away peacefully at his home,  surrounded by his loved ones.

He attended Immaculate Conception Elementary school and graduated for Lincoln Tech Class of '74.  He was an accomplished home remodeler and basically a jack of all trades including roofing.

David was not your typical family man... he made it his top priority that his family was happy. He had a way to make you laugh or smile on your worst days. The time he wasn’t spending with his family - he was at Penn Treaty Park with his dog, Jake. David loved all animals, especially his dog and two cats. He was known for feeding all animals - cats, dogs, birds and even squirrels. David just had a heart of gold and the best sense of humor. He will be missed by many.

He is the dear brother of Diane Peterman ( the late Joseph ), Dennis Dugan ( Mary ) and Daniel Dugan ( Bunny ).  He will be sadly missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and  many friends.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 7th at 10:30 AM in St. Anne's Lower Church, 2328 East Lehigh Avenue.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday 6-8 PM in the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-17 East Susquehanna Ave, Fishtown and again on Tuesday at 9:30 AM in St. Anne's.

For those desiring the family is requesting, and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Pink Elephant Movement, at the address below.
