David Wesley Shaffer, father, grandfather, brother, and cousin, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024.

David, proud and loving father to his two daughters, Deserae and Chelsea, who he loved endlessly.

David is preceded in death by his parents Charlotte Hill and Gerald Shaffer and his daughter Deserae. He is survived by his daughter Chelsea, his sister Charmaigne, who shared a lifetime of memories and unwavering sibling bond with him. He is sadly missed by nine grandchildren and his nieces and nephews, all of whom he held close to his heart. He was also deeply loved by his cousins Dee and Carmen, Brian and Jaci Durso, along with their children, who all held a special place in his heart.

Known for his kind spirit, quick wit, quirky dance moves, love for Elvis Presley and boundless generosity, David touched the lives of all who knew him. He had a unique gift for making others feel valued and loved, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and joy that will endure in the hearts of his family and friends.

David’s life will be celebrated in a private gathering of his close family and loved ones, where stories of his vibrant life will be shared and his memory honored.

Though his presence will be dearly missed, David’s love and influence will forever live on through the family and friends who were fortunate enough to know him.

Rest in peace, David. You will remain forever in our hearts.
