Denise Marie (Hall) Bryan

Denise M. Bryan (nee Hall) sadly passed away at home on December 22, 2023. She was born in Philadelphia on November 2, 1962. 

Denise is the beloved wife of over 42 years to Eugene J. Bryan Jr. Devoted mother of Christie (Scott), Jillian (Ray), Brett (Kelly), Kaylee (William), and Colin. Loving Mom-Mom Niesie to Brynn (Ryan), Ava, and Kayden. Cherished daughter of Geraldine (nee Devlin) and the late Joseph Hall and daughter in law of Corker and the late Geraldine Bryan. Dear sister of Geri Ann Kotch (Dave), Joseph Hall, Gerald Hall (Lidia), and Kristine DePaul (late Bobby). Sadly missed by her aunts Kass Flynn and Helen Carroll and her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and cousins. 

Denise was the epitome of being a daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She put her whole self into raising her 5 children. That also extended to her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. No matter what time of day or night if you came to Aunt Denise's or Mom Mom Niesie’s the door was always open and she would welcome you with open arms. To just talk, to be a shoulder to lean on, to share in happy moments, whatever the reason you needed to come sit in "her kitchen" she was there for you. Denise was something for everyone whenever they needed. People often think of home as a place, but those who knew Denise thought of her as home. Denise was the light when it was dark, blue in gray skies, the rainbow after the storm. She will be forever missed but always in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Friday December 29, 2023 from 8:15-10:15am in the McElvarr Funeral Home 1415-17 East Susquehanna Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19125 (Fishtown). Funeral mass 11am in St. Peter the Apostle Church 1019 N. 5th Street Philadelphia, PA 19123. Interment Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
