Dennis Joseph Burg, Sr (Denny) age 73, passed on 8/30/2022

Preceded in death by his devoted mother, Alice G. Burg.  He is survived by his son Denny Burg, Jr (Elysia) and daughter Angie Burg-Campbell (Brandon), a beloved Pop-Pop to Jacob, Jeffrey, Dylan, Mackenzy, Paige and Makayla; also survived by his loving sister Alice Martine (Gerald, Sr.), along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many close friends.

Denny lived his entire life in Fishtown, where he enjoyed playing cards and shuffleboard at Luke’s or Rum Runner Bars with his friends. Loved by all in the neighborhood.  He also loved watching his Eagles and Flyers games every season.  He retired from A Brooks Roofing after a long successful career in the roofing industry.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, September 9, 2022 beginning at 3 PM followed by his Funeral Service at 5 PM, in the HUBERT M. McBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 2357 East Cumberland Street, Phila, PA   19125
