Dolores was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to the late John and Violet Dennis. She is the widow of Richard Tomlinson, who she married on May 23, 1963, until his passing on December 27, 1995. They were married for 32 years.
Mother of Joseph (Patti), Susan and David, Grams of Rebecca, Marcus, Joseph, Sarah, Ryan, Caleb, the late Hope, Kevin, Matthew, Katelyn, Nathan, Josiah, Emily, Andrew and Levi. Great Grandmother of Mckayla, Taliah, Schuyler, Leilahni and the late Paisley. Sister of Darwyn, Dorothy, John, Charles, Arnett and Ralph. Auntie to many nieces and nephews.
She lived in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Mississippi, Washington State, New Jersey and back to Philly.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral on Saturday, February 3, 2024, beginning at 9 AM. and followed by her service at 10:30 AM, in BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH, 2080 Castor Avenue. She will be laid to rest with her husband Richard in Palmer Cemetery.
For those desiring and in lieu of flowers, the family is respectfully requesting memorial contributions to Bethel Baptist Church.
