Dolores “Dee” Marie Ladd

Dolores Marie Ladd “Dee” passed away on November 5, 2021 at the age of 60. She is the beloved daughter of the late Sam and Judy (née Jordan). Dear sister of Sam (Mary), Julie Post (George), Eileen Meehan (Larry), Francis (Angie), and the late Judith Broomhead (Robert), and William “Wink” (Jennifer). Loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by her best friend Terri Gawlinski. 

Dee was raised in St. Anne parish. She attended St. Anne School and John W. Hallahan High School for Girls, from which she graduated Class of 1979. She then worked as a bookkeeper for Bookbinders restaurant until their closing. Dee loved sports and was a talented athlete, especially in softball and flag football. She also liked to do seek and find puzzles in her downtime. However, what she enjoyed most was time spent with family. She will be greatly missed but her family takes comfort in knowing that she is being reunited with her family who has gone before her.

 
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing at funeral Friday November 12, 2021 from 8:45-10:15am in St. Anne Church (lower) 2328 East Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral mass 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations in Dee’s memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 100 North 20th Street Philadelphia PA 19103.

We ask that all those attending services wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
