Donald P. Litka

Donald P. Litka "Donnie" passed away unexpectedly at home on October 18, 2024. He was 62 years old. He was born in Philadelphia on August 10, 1962. 

Donald worked for many years as a hairstylist and was very talented in his trade. He was then employed as a paralegal until his retirement. Always the life of the party, Donnie was energetic and funny and could light up any room with his positive energy. He loved to sing and dance, especially to songs by Diana Ross or Madonna, and always dressed impeccably. He will be remembered most for his heart of gold and his generous nature, from opening his home to Ukranian refugees to his love and nurturing of animals. Donnie will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved him. 

Donald is the beloved son of the late Evelyn and Joseph Jalicke and the late Donald Litka. Devoted husband of Carlos Morales Mitti. Dear brother of Denise Arasim, Elaine Litka (Scott Meis), Erica Kane (Frank Kavanagh), and the late David Litka and Joseph Jalicke Jr. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and his fur babies Lola, Toby, and Leo. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Donald's life on Friday October 25, 2024 beginning at 6pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. Prayers and words of remembrance will begin at 7:30pm.
